In June 2026, Total Nutrition, Inc. announced a voluntary recall for TNVitamins 100% Organic Moringa 1,200 mg Capsules and 100% Organic Moringa Powder after the raw moringa ingredient was pulled by its supplier due to Salmonella.

So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these 2 specific products. However, moringa capsules have been linked to a larger outbreak involving over 100 illnesses nationwide, and this is not the company’s first moringa recall in 2026.

What Is the Salmonella Risk?

The capsules come in a white bottle with a smooth white cap. The bottles contain 90 clear capsules that are filled with green moringa powder. The powder ships in a white HDPE jar containing 96 grams of product. The lot number can be located on the bottom of the bottle or near the barcode.

Both products were sold nationwide through Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Target, and the company’s own recall page. If you have either product at home, do not use it, and throw it away.

Total Nutrition’s moringa capsules are tied to a broader moringa Salmonella outbreak that has sickened at least 119 people across 36 states, including Texas, as of June 2026. No deaths have been reported. Of the 79 people interviewed by health officials, 4 specifically reported taking TNVitamins moringa powder capsules before getting sick.
