Uloric (febuxostat), a prescription treatment for gout, has been linked to a wide range of severe side effects and it is the focus of a growing number of lawsuits.

Uloric Class Action Lawsuit Information

Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Uloric, was hit with a whistleblower lawsuits in 2010. The whistleblower, Dr. Helen Ge, accused the company of withholding information about side effects of Uloric. Takeda is currently facing thousands of lawsuits involving similar allegations surrounding Actos, a type-2 diabetes drug.

These lawsuits are not centralized in a Uloric class action. They are individual lawsuits filed by people who were diagnosed with severe injuries.
