Costco Shower Bench Recall

In September 2021, Ivena International issued a recall for 70,000 teak shower benches that were exclusively sold at Costco due to a risk of serious injuries.

There were 81 reports of the shower benches breaking, collapsing during use, or falling apart, including 4 people who fell. The reported injuries included:

• Falling off the shower bench
• Bruises
• Persistent head and body aches
• Fractured tailbone
• Broken bones

Signature Hardware Shower Seat Recall

Target Recalls Shower Stools

In May 2021, Target recalled 58,500 Room Essentials® Shower Stools because they can become slippery, unstable, or tip over during use.
