July 21, 2018 — Mondelēz Global LLC announced a voluntary recall for Ritz Cracker Sandwiches and Ritz Bits because they contain whey powder that may contain Salmonella. No illnesses were reported.

The recall was announced after a third-party supplier recalled whey powder, an ingredient in certain Ritz products, due to a possible risk of contamination with Salmonella.

Salmonella Food Poisoning
