What Pistachios Were Recalled?

The recall only involves the following products:

  • Bazzini’s Roasted and Salted Colossal Natural Pistachios
  • Bazzini’s Super Colossal Natural Pistachios
  • Bazzini’s Rams Head Natural In-Shell Pistachios

The recalled pistachios were distributed to retailers in New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Washington DC, and Virginia.

What is the Problem?

The recall was announced after the company’s routine sampling program detected a positive test for Salmonella in a finished product. The pistachios were received from one of Bazzini’s suppliers.
