What is Landmaster?
Albaugh’s Landmaster® is an herbicide that is advertise to control weeds in a variety of agricultural, forestry, and industrial uses. It contains glyphosate (13.3%), ,4-D, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (11.1%), and other ingredients (75.6%).
What is the problem?
Albaugh’s Landmaster contains glyphosate, an herbicide that is also found in Roundup®. Unfortunately, there are thousands of reports of people who developed cancer after using glyphosate herbicides.
In 2015, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) decided to upgrade their classification for glyphosate to “probably carcinogenic to humans.”
Over 4,000 lawsuits have been filed against Monsanto for allegedly failing to warn the public about the potential carcinogenic effects of glyphosate. Monsanto is accused of intentionally downplaying evidence linking glyphosate and cancer. For example, Roundup was advertised as “safer than table salt,” while Monsanto made billions.
