October 22, 2018 — SK Food Group and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have recalled Jenny Craig® Chicken BBQ Wraps because ingredients may be contaminated with Salmonella or Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
What Jenny Craig Wraps Were Recalled?
Jenny Craig sold the recalled chicken BBQ wraps through retail stores, as well as Internet and phone sales.
The recall involves all “Best Before” dates between 2018 OC 31 up to and including 2019 OC 04, and UPC Code 6 55447 10618 3.
Listeria Food Poisoning
Listeria monocytogenes is a bacteria that can cause severe, life-threatening cases of food poisoning. The symptoms of an infection may not appear for up to 70 days, and can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
