November 15, 2018 — The outbreak investigation report from the CDC has linked recalled beef from JBS hto 246 Salmonella illnesses in 25 states, with 59 people hospitalized from August 5, 2018 through October 16, 2018.
Walmart and JBS Tolleson Recall Ground Beef
In October 2018, Walmart and JBS Tolleson Inc. recalled 6.5 million pounds of raw beef products and ground beef due to Salmonella contamination.

The recall involves the following beef brand-names that were sold at Walmart and other retailers:
- Cedar River Farms Natural
- Comnor Perfect Choice
- Gourmet Burger
- Grass Run Farms Natural
- JBS Generic
- Showcase
- Walmart
The recalled beef products and ground beef are marked “EST. 267” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were packaged from July 26, 2018 through September 7, 2018.

Symptoms of Salmonella
