July 23, 2018 — Pepperidge Farm® announced a voluntary recall for 3.3 million packages of Goldfish Crackers due to a possible risk of Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported.

Goldfish Crackers were recalled due to a potential risk of Salmonella in an ingredient, whey powder, that is supplied by a third-party manufacturer.
What Goldfish Crackers Were Recalled?
The recall involves the following varieties of Goldfish Crackers:
- Goldfish Flavor Blasted® Xtra Cheddar
- Goldfish Flavor Blasted® Sour Cream & Onion
- Goldfish® Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
- Goldfish® Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
They come in a variety of packages, including bags, cardboard cartons, multi-pack trays, individual snack packs, re-sealable bags, bulk cartons, and single-serve vending machine packages.
