Whole Foods in El Paso, Texas Recalls Vegetables for Listeria Risk

November 13, 2019 — Whole Foods Market has recalled dozens of vegetable products sold from the hot bar, salad bar, and chefs’ case due to a risk of Listeria contamination.

The recalled vegetable items were sold from October 10, 2019 through November 4, 2019 at Whole Foods in El Paso, Texas.

Whole Foods issued the recall in response to a massive recall of fresh vegetables by Mann Packing Co. on November 3, 2019.

No illnesses have been reported, but Listeria infections can be very serious and sometimes fatal. Pregnant women may also suffer a miscarriage or stillbirth if they are infected with Listeria.

Customers who bought the recalled product at Whole Foods Market can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund.
