Tuna Salad Recalled in Texas for Listeria Risk

In July 2025, grocery stores in Texas and other states recalled tuna salad items that were manufactured by Reser’s Fine Foods due to potential contamination with Listeria. In response, recalls were issued by Albertsons, Randalls, and Tom Thumb stores in Texas.

No illnesses were reported, but Reser’s Fine Foods warned that the breadcrumb ingredient used in the tuna salad may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious infections.
