Taleco Gear Linked to Nationwide Baby Jumper Recall

In August 2026, Taleco Gear recalled about 41,100 baby jumpers, baby swings, and 2-in-1 jumper-and-swing combo products after dozens of reports of babies who were injured in falls or other incidents.

How Many Babies Were Injured?

The recall was announced after at least 52 reports of falls, instability or tip-over incidents, impact injuries, and strangulation hazards. The reports included at least 32 babies or young children who suffered injuries, such as head bumps or a bloody nose. These injuries were relatively mild, but far more serious injuries are possible.

What Is the Danger With These Products?

According to the CPSC, the baby jumper/swing products can be unstable. If the product tips over when a baby is bouncing or swinging, the child can fall and suffer impact injuries.

Another issues is the hanging restraint straps and leg-openings in the seat, which can pose strangulation hazards. This could potentially occur if a child gets the straps wrapped around their neck, or if their head gets stuck in the leg-openings of the seat.

Which Products Are Affected?

  • Baby Jumper (model jumper-01) sold in black, blue, pink
  • Baby Swing (model swing-1) sold in gray, white, pink
  • 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-A (model jumper-01) sold in gray, white, pink
  • 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-B (model jumper-01) sold in black, gray, blue, pink, green

Where Were They Sold?

The recalled baby swings/jumpers were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and TalecoGear.com from April 2021 through July 2026 for between $65 to $120.

What Should I Do?

If you own a recalled baby product, you can contact Taleco Gear and register for a refund through the company’s official recall page.
