Stanley Travel Mugs Recalled After 38 People Burned

Stanley Travel Mugs Recalled for Faulty Lids
Stanley recalled millions of Switchback and Trigger Action Travel Mugs that were sold in the U.S. since 2016 due to faulty lids.
Stanley said the problem is that the “mug’s lid threads can shrink when exposed to heat and torque, causing the lid to detach during use, posing a burn hazard.” There were 91 reports worldwide, including 16 in the U.S., of the travel mug lids detaching during use.
