About the SNOOZ Breez Fan Recall
On April 9, 2026, Snooz, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada voluntarily recalled approximately 11,900 Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machines in cooperation with the CPSC (Recall No. 26-388). An additional approximately 140 units were recalled in Canada at the same time.
According to the CPSC, the power connector inside the recalled fans can corrode and cause the fan to overheat, posing a risk of fire. Snooz reported 6 cases of the fans overheating and smoking nationally, including 1 report of fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported as of the recall date.
The Breez fan is marketed as a combination white noise machine and air circulator, designed for use in bedrooms overnight. Because it is intended to run continuously while users are asleep, an undetected fire hazard poses a particularly serious risk.
Which SNOOZ Fans Are Recalled?
The recall covers the Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine with serial numbers beginning with BZ10 or BZ02, printed on the underside of the fan’s wooden base. The recalled fans are white with a beige stand and have a removable barrel power jack. Breez 2nd Generation sound machines are not part of this recall.
The recalled fans were sold online at Amazon, Shopify, Kickstarter, and other small retailers from June 2023 through December 2025 for approximately $200. Texas consumers who purchased the Breez fan through any of these platforms during that period should check their serial number immediately.
What Should Texans with a Recalled Fan Do?
The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled fans immediately. To confirm whether a fan is included in the recall, locate the serial number on the underside of the fan’s wooden base and check whether it begins with BZ10 or BZ02.
Affected consumers should then visit getsnooz.com/recalls to register for a free replacement fan. As part of the process, consumers will be asked to cut the power cord and upload a photo of the cut cord and the adapter showing all printed information.
Snooz can also be reached toll-free at 855-953-4125 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, or by email at cs@getsnooz.com. Note that accepting a replacement fan does not waive any legal rights you may have if you suffered injury or property damage before learning about the recall.
Legal Help for Texans Injured by the Recalled Fan
Many Texas households across Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, and beyond purchased the SNOOZ Breez fan online from Amazon and other platforms during its two-year run on the market. Because the fan is designed to operate in bedrooms at night, a fire or overheating event while users are asleep raises especially serious safety concerns.
When a consumer product is defective and poses a risk of fire, manufacturers and importers may be held accountable under Texas product liability law. Texans who suffered injuries or fire damage from a recalled Breez fan may be entitled to compensation for medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and other losses.
A Texas product liability lawyer can help you understand your rights and evaluate whether you have a claim. Time limits apply to filing a lawsuit in Texas, so it is important to act promptly.
