ReBoost Nasal Spray Recall Expands to All Lots

In December 2025, MediNatura expanded a recall for ReBoost Nasal Spray to include every lot and expiration date of the product.

The original recall only included ReBoost Nasal Spray (Lot Number 22426).

On December 16, MediNatura expanded the recall to include all lots of ReBoost Nasal Spray and ClearLife Allergy Nasal Spray.

Did Anyone Get Sick?

No infections were reported, but the company explained that further tests identified mold/yeast and bacteria contamination that could pose health risks, including a risk of serious infections.

What Type of Bacteria Was Found?

The bacteria was identified as Achromobacter, which may cause opportunistic infections in people with compromised immune systems. It is naturally resistant to antibiotics.

What is the Risk?

MediNatura warned that people who use contaminated nasal spray could develop a life-threatening infection, especially if they have a vulnerable immune system:

“There is a reasonable probability that adverse health consequences including life-threatening infections will occur with use of the product in the immuno-compromised population. To date, MediNatura has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.”

MediNatura Expands Recall for Homeopathic Nasal Sprays

ReBoost Nasal Spray is a homeopathic product that is manufactured by MediNatura, a company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The expanded recall also includes ClearLife Allergy Nasal Spray, which also tested positive for Achromobacter bacteria contamination.

How To Identify ReBoost Nasal Spray

The recall involves ReBoost Nasal Spray, a homeopathic product that can be used for the temporary relief of nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and other nasal symptoms.

The product is packaged in a 20mL bottle, which is further packaged inside a carton labeled with NDC Number 62795-4005-9 and UPC# 787647 10186 3. The recall involves all lots and expiration dates, which includes expiration dates between 12/2022 and 12/2025.

What Should I Do?

Infections with Achromobacter can be serious or even life-threatening, especially because many species of this bacteria are naturally antibiotic-resistant.

Anyone who has experienced health problems that may be related to using ReBoost Nasal Spray or ClearLife Allergy Nasal Spray should contact their physician or healthcare provider immediately.
