What is the Problem?

Nutrex Pressure Cookers can depressurize unintentionally, posing an injury hazard. Burns are especially likely to occur if the lid is opened when there is still a dangerous amount of pressure inside the cooker.

Rena Ware sales representatives sold the recalled Nutrex Pressure Cookers between December 2015 and June 2018 for $750 to $820.

The recalled Nutrex pressure cookers are marked with Model #2153. They are silver with black handles. There is a blue gasket on the inside of the cover.

The words “Model #2153,” “DW,” the month and year of production and “Rena Ware” are stamped on the bottom of the unit. “DONG WON” is stamped on the base of the main valve. “DWM” is stamped on the blue gasket.
