INMO Air3 Smart Glasses Recalled for Burn Hazard

In September 2026, INMO and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall for nearly 2,000 pairs of AIR3 Smart Glasses overheating. No serious injuries were reported, but the glasses could potentially burn people if they get too hot.

The recall incluces about 1,643 pairs of AIR3 Smart Glasses that were sold in the United States. There were also 120 pairs sold there.

How Many People Were Injured?

INMO said it received 10 reports of the AIR3 glasses overheating. No one was severely burned, but there were reports of people who experienced a burning sensation on their face and to the left side of the ear. No injuries were reported in Canada.

What Is the Burn Hazard?

On the recall website, INMO warned: “The left temple of the recalled smart glasses can overheat during extended use, posing a serious risk of injury or death due to burn hazard.” The left temple is the arm of the frame that goes along the left side of a user’s head and rests on their ear.
