The importer, Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co. of China, received 11 reports of the trucks catching fire, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, and smoking before the recall was announced.
No injuries have been reported. However, a circuit board fire in a children’s ride-on vehicle poses serious risks of burn injury and property damage, particularly if the truck is left charging indoors or in an enclosed space like a garage.
Which Products Are Recalled?
The recall covers FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks, model number DLS-K03, sold in red, black, white, and pink. The trucks were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and TikTok.com from October 2025 through December 2025 for about $240.
These trucks were sold during the peak holiday shopping season, meaning many Texas families may have purchased one as a Christmas or birthday gift for a child. If you have one of these trucks at home, stop using it immediately and unplug it if it is currently charging.
What Is the Fire Risk?
According to the CPSC, the truck’s internal circuit board can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to users and bystanders. The hazard is present both during use and during charging. Circuit board fires in battery-powered children’s vehicles can spread quickly, especially when the vehicle is stored or charged in enclosed areas.

To receive a full refund, consumers must disable the truck by cutting the wires to the battery, then submit a photo of the cut wires with “VOID,” the consumer’s name, and the date written on the hood in permanent marker. The truck’s lead-acid battery should not be placed in the trash or curbside recycling — bring it to a local household hazardous waste facility or retail battery drop-off location.
