September 7, 2016 — United Exchange Corp. has issued a voluntary nationwide recall for Family Care Eye Wash due to microbial contamination and the risk of sight-threatening infections.
No infections have been reported yet. The manufacturer learned about the problem after receiving a complaint about the product. Family Care Eye Wash was packaged in 4-oz (118mL) bottles and was sold nationwide.
