Cosyland Tower Stools Linked to Reports of Falls and a Broken Arm

In May 2026, Cosyland Official issued a recall of approximately 125,200 Cosyland-branded children’s tower stools, citing risk of serious injury and death from entrapment, fall, and tip-over hazards.

Nationwide, the CPSC recall notice reported 25 incidents involving stability issues and falls. Those incidents resulted in 8 injuries, ranging from scrapes and contusions (bruises) to a fractured arm.

What Is the Defect?

According to the CPSC, the recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use. Another safety issue is that a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides.

The combination of two serious safety issues poses a risk of serious injury and death if the tower tips over, the child falls, or becomes trapped. The recall warns:

“The recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards.”

Tower stools are marketed for toddlers and young children who want to stand at counter or sink height. When a stool of this height fails by collapsing or tipping over, a small child can fall onto a hard kitchen or bathroom floor. A child can slip partway through the torso-sized openings and become stuck.

Which Products Are Affected?

  • Cosyland Children’s Tower Stool — model CS0003
  • Cosyland Children’s Tower Stool — model CS0092-4
  • Available in natural bamboo and gray finishes
  • Approximately 16 inches deep by 18 inches wide by 35 inches tall
  • “COSYLAND” and warning labels visible along the top rails

Where Were They Sold?

The recalled tower stools were sold online at Amazon.com from April 2021 through November 2025 for around $70. With more than four years of online sales and 125,200 units distributed nationwide, the recalled stools reached Texas homes in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and beyond.

The CPSC says consumers should stop using the recalled tower stools immediately and store them away from children until repaired. For repair requests, consumers can visit Cosyland’s official recall page or check the CPSC recall page for updates.

How Many Children Were Injured?

The CPSC reported 25 incidents involving stability issues and falls, with 8 confirmed injuries (including one child who suffered a fractured arm). These incidents were reported nationwide in the U.S. The incident counts in Texas have not been published, but the stools were sold on Amazon nationwide.

If your child was injured in a fall from a Cosyland tower stool or became stuck in the front or back openings, our lawyers may be able to help.

Toddler tower stools are popular with Texas families because they let small children participate at the kitchen counter or bathroom sink. When a stool is sold for that purpose and then collapses, tips over, or traps a child, the manufacturer can potentially be held responsible.

A defective children’s product that causes a fractured arm in a toddler can mean emergency room bills, casting, follow-up orthopedic care, and time off work for parents. Texas families with children injured in a Cosyland tower stool incident may be entitled to compensation.

A Texas product liability lawyer can help you understand your legal options and whether your child’s injury qualifies for a lawsuit against the importer.
