HSN Recalls CasaClean Steam Cleaners

In July 2025, the Home Shopping Network (HSN) recalled about 23,000 CasaClean Handheld Steamers due to a risk of serious burn injuries.

According to the recall: “The steamers can leak steam or spew hot boiling water, posing a risk of serious burn injury to users.”

How Many People Were Burned?

There were 26 reports of the recalled CasaClean Handheld Steamers leaking or spewing boiling-hot water or steam, including 13 people who suffered burn injuries, according to the recall.

What Are Steam Cleaners?

The recall involves CasaClean 3-in-1 Handheld Steamers, also known as “steam cleaners.” They were advertised as a household cleaning tool that can remove dirt and grease by blasting out a cloud of hot steam.

How To Check If Your Steam Cleaner Was Recalled

The recalled CasaClean Steamers are marked with Model Number DF-958, which is listed on a large black bar on the product rating sticker on the bottom of the machine. They came in two color combinations (white/gray or blue/gray). Each product cost about $40.

Where Were They Sold?

The steam cleaners were sold nationwide by HSN between November 2024 through April 2025. They were manufactured by a Florida-based company called Deale International LLC.

What Should I Do?
