Belkin Power Bank & Charging Stand Recall
In November 2025, about 83,500 recallBelkin Portable Power Banks and Wireless Charging Stands were recalled due to fire and burn hazards.
The recall involves the Belkin Boost Charge USB-C PD Power Banks (Model Numbers BPB002 and PB0003) and the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro (Model number MMA008).
What is the Problem?
The recall was announced by Belkin International Inc., a company based in Segundo, California. In the recall, the company warned:
“The lithium-ion battery in the power banks and charging stands can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.”
How Many Fires Were Reported?
Belkin Power Banks and Charging Stands have been linked to 1 fire in the U.S., plus another 15 fires that occurred internationally.
How Many People Were Burned?
Outside of the U.S., the recalled power banks and charging stands were also linked to 2 reports of minor burn injuries, and fires that caused $37,765 in property damage.
Belkin also announced recalls for about 2,385 units that were sold in Canada. No incidents were reported in Canada for the power bank or the charging stand.
Where Were They Sold?
The recalled Belkin Power Banks and Charging Stands were sold nationwide between August 2020 and August 2025 at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Belkin.com, Amazon, TikTok, other stores and online.
How To Check If Your Power Bank Was Recalled
The recalled products can be identified by the following information:
- Belkin Portable Power Banks: Model BPB002 printed on the back-top of the power bank. Serial numbers (14 digits) starting with “35S” on the back of the power bank. Sold in black.
- Belkin Portable Power Banks: Model PB0003 on the back of the power bank. All serial numbers are included in this recall. Sold in black or white.
- Belkin Wireless Charging Stands: Model MMA008 on the bottom of the charging stand. Serial numbers (14 digits) starting with “57X” are being recalled. The serial number is on the bottom of the charging stand. Sold in black.
What Should I Do?
Belkin is urging customers to stop using the recalled power banks and charging stands. You can get a full refund or an in-store credit (worth 20% more than the average sales price) by visiting the recall website.
