Aroeve Air Purifier Recall

In February 2026, Airova Inc. announced a recall for about 181,390 Aroeve® Air Purifiers that can overheat and catch on fire.

No injuries were reported, but the problem poses a fire hazard. According to the recall:

“The air purifiers can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.”

The recalled air purifiers were linked to 37 reports of overheating, including 1 report of a fire. There were no reports of any injuries or property damage.

Where Were They Sold?

The recalled Aroeve Air Purifiers were sold online at Amazon.com, Shopify.com, TEMU.com, and TikTok.com from September 2024 through June 2025 for between $80 and $134.

Recalled Product Information

The recall only applies to certain Aroeve® Air Purifiers. You can find the model number, serial number, and date code on a label on the bottom of the unit. The recalled units have:

• Model MK04
• Manufactured prior to July 2925
• Serial number beginning with “BN,” but not all units with “BN” serial numbers are affected by the recall
