Arizer Recalled the Solo III Vaporizer for Fire and Burn Hazards
In June 2026, Arizer Tech (a company also known as 7111495 Canada Inc.) published a voluntary recall for about 5,000 Arizer Solo III portable vaporizers.
According to the announcement posted by the CPSC, the problem is that the “internal lithium-ion battery can explode or ignite, posing fire and burn hazards.”
What Happened?
The recall only involves the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) model, which is a portable electronic vaporizer. Inside the vaporizer is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Nationwide, Arizer Tech said there were 4 reports of the battery exploding or igniting. No injuries have been reported.
On its own recall website, Arizer said there were a “limited number of reports involving battery thermal events, including reports of battery venting or ignition.” The recall was issued out of an “abundance of caution.”
What Is the Fire and Burn Hazard?
The safety hazard has been linked to the lithium-ion battery inside the vaporizers. If this battery overheats, it can potentially explode or catch on fire. When a lithium-ion battery fails, it can release intense heat and flames very quickly. This is called “battery venting.” It can also ignite suddenly.
Which Vaporizers Are Affected?
The recall applies only to the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) color with a serial number beginning with one of the affected prefixes. The serial number is etched on the bottom of the device and printed on the packaging, which also carries UPC 628078802274.

Where Were They Sold?
The recalled vaporizers were sold between May 2025 and January 2026 at specialty retailers, health and wellness stores, and adult novelty stores nationwide and on Arizer.com.
The CPSC urged people to stop using the device immediately and contact Arizer for a replacement Solo III V2 unit. Because the device contains a lithium-ion battery, it must only be disposed of in a specific way. According to the CPSC:
Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.”
