Agio Patio Swings Recalled After Seat Detached From Frame
In May 2026, World Bright International Limited issued a recall of about 18,500 Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings sold exclusively at Costco. The CPSC assigned the recall number 26-485.
The recalled swings were imported and sold by Costco retail stores and online at Costco.com from February 2026 through March 2026 for between $549 and $649
According to the CPSC, the company received 8 reports of the swing seat detaching from the frame while in use, resulting in 8 reports of injury including impact injuries to the head and arms.
What Is the Fall Hazard?
The CPSC states that the swing seat can detach from the frame while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fall hazard. Agio describes the failure on its own recall page as the swing support hooks dislodging during use, creating a backward fall hazard.
The original S-hooks that connect the seat to the frame are open hooks that can come loose. Agio is providing a free repair kit with 4 replacement S-hooks that have a clasp on one end, designed to keep the seat secured to the frame.
The company warns that the defect may not be visible during inspection. Even swings that appear to be in good condition should not be used until the replacement hooks are installed. Reported injuries to date have included impact injuries to the head and arms.
Which Products Are Affected?
The recall covers the following product:
- Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swing — Model No. 1934256
- Black metal frame with black metal swing arms
- Fabric canopy and a padded seat in brown outdoor wicker
- Frame dimensions: about 75 inches high, 71 inches wide, and 48 inches deep
- Seat dimensions: about 58 inches wide and 19 inches deep
Where Were They Sold?
The recalled Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings were sold exclusively at Costco retail stores and on Costco.com from February 2026 through March 2026 for between $549 and $649.
Texas has Costco warehouse locations across Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, and the Rio Grande Valley, and the product was also available online to Texas customers.
If you have one of these swings, the CPSC says you should immediately stop using it and contact World Bright International Limited for a free repair kit. For updates, see the official CPSC recall notice or the Agio recall page.
How Many People Were Injured?
Nationally, 8 incidents of the swing seat detaching from the frame have been reported, all of which resulted in injuries to the head and arms. The CPSC has classified the recall as a serious injury or death hazard.

Legal Help for Texans Injured by an Agio Patio Swing
Patio swings are a common feature on Texas porches, backyards, and outdoor entertaining spaces, especially in the long warm seasons across Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and Fort Worth. A backyard swing is supposed to be one of the safer pieces of outdoor furniture in a home.
When a defective S-hook lets the seat drop without warning, the fall can produce serious head and arm injuries. The 8 reports already documented by the CPSC all involved injuries.
Texans who were injured by an Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swing may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages. A Texas product liability lawyer can help you understand your legal options.
