Safety 1st Step-and-Go Stroller Recalled for Fall HazardAugust 25, 2016 — Dorel Juvenile is recalling about 20,000 Safety 1st baby strollers due to a fall hazard.

The problem is that the tray-folding mechanism can partly disengage on one side when an infant carrier is attached to the stroller.

The manufacturer has received 30 reports of the front stroller tray that supports the infant car seat disengaging on one side. No injuries have been reported to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).

The recall involves Step-and-Go Travel Systems used with the OnBoard 35 infant car seat. The strollers have a step-to-open design that opens by stepping on the pedal.

The strollers were sold at Babies R Us and other retailers nationwide, and online at, and from May 2015 through June 2016 for between $250 and $300.
