May 6, 2025 — SharkNinja announced a Safety Recall for more than 1.8 million Ninja Foodi Pressure Cookers / TenderCrisp Air Fryers after 106 reports of burn injuries and dozens of lawsuits.
The problem is that the pressure cooker lid can be opened during use, causing hot contents to escape, posing a risk of burn injuries.
SharkNinja said it received “106 reports of burn injuries, including more than 50 reports of second- or third-degree burns to the face or body, with 26 lawsuits filed,” according to the recall.
The recall involves all Ninja Foodi Pressure Cookers / TenderCrisp Air Fryer products with model numbers from the OP300 Series, for example:

- OP301A
- OP301C
- OP302
- OP302BRN
- OP302HCN
- OP302HAQ
- OP302HW
- OP302HB
- OP305
- OP305CO
- OP350CO
- OP305CCO
The pressure cookers were sold nationwide from January 2019 through March 2025 at stores like Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, Amazon, and other websites online.
