July 10, 2024 — H-E-B and other grocery stores in Texas have recalled tubs of mustard potato salad that may contain hard pieces of plastic.
Reser’s Fine Foods recalled certain 3-pound tubs of Hill County Fare Mustard Potato Salad with Use-By Date of JUL/26/24.
The recalled potato salad items were distributed only in Texas to grocery stores including H-E-B and Joe V’s Smart Shop.
The item was produced by Reser’s Fine Foods at a regional facility. The manufacturer said that the recalled items have been removed from stores, according to the recall.
No injuries were reported, but people who eat or ingest these hard pieces of plastic could potentially suffer from mouth injuries, lacerations, digestive problems, or other injuries.
Reser’s Fine Foods is urging customers to return the item to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
