July 1, 2020 — A food company in Garland, Texas recalled “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” after a sample tested positive for Listeria bacteria contamination.
Garland Ventures Ltd. recalled 1,095 cases of “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” in 10.76-ounce trays with marinara, mozzarella, and parsley.
The stuffed shells were packed in aluminum foil with a clear lid. It is marked with Lot #F080SS or Lot #F090SS on the bottom of label.
No illnesses were reported, but Listeria infections can be serious and sometimes fatal, particularly for young children, older adults, and people with vulnerable immune systems.
Pregnant women may also suffer a stillbirth, miscarriage, or a life-threatening illness in the newborn baby.
Garland Ventures is urging consumers who bought this product to return it to the place of purchase for full refund.
