Beaba Baby Food Mixers Recalled for Broken Glass Hazard

May 16, 2019 — Over 5,000 Beaba Babycook Neo baby food mixers were recalled after hundreds of reports of the glass bowl shattering.

Beaba SAS, of France, recalled Babycook Neo steam cooker/blenders after receiving about 300 reports of the glass bowl shattering, including 3 reports of minor injuries.

The recall involves the Beaba Babycook Neo Midnight and Cloud baby food makers, which are both A/C powered appliances that steam and blend food for babies.

The product measures about 9″ wide and 9″ high and comes with a detachable glass bowl.

The Midnight is dark blue with a white handled glass bowl with the reference number 912645 on the bottom.

The Cloud is white with a gray handled glass bowl with the reference number 912646 on the bottom.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Babycook Neo and contact Beaba for a free replacement bowl.

They were sold online and at dozens of retail stores between July 2018 through February 2019 for between $200 and $250.
